Log
The log displays information and messages related to an operation — including the corresponding timestamp.Toolbar
The toolbar offers the following functions:- Maximize log view
Maximizes the log view. - Change position
Positions the log either below the profile list or on the far right of the AllSync main window. - Adjust column width
Automatically adjusts the width of all columns in the log to fit their content. - Clear log contents
Removes all entries from the log. - Calculate duration for every single action in the log
Determines the duration of each action in the log and displays it in a separate column. - Options
Opens the options for the log. - Show list of known error messages
Opens the help page with an overview of known error messages, their causes, and possible solutions. - Show error log
Opens the general error log in the Log Manager.
Context Menu
The context menu can be accessed by right-clicking a row in the log.Standard Menu
- Copy to clipboard
Copies the selected log rows to the Windows clipboard. - Show list of known error messages
Opens the help page with an overview of known error messages, their causes, and possible solutions. - Maximize log view
Maximizes the log view.
Menu for an error message
For log rows with an error message (e.g. when copying a file), additional actions are available:- Copy to clipboard
Copies either the entire log row or just the source and destination file path. - Open folder
Opens the corresponding source or destination folder in Windows Explorer. - File-Lock Analyzer
Checks the source or destination file using the File-Lock Analyzer. - Show information for error no. X
Opens the help page with specific information about the error, its possible causes, and solutions. - Search for information about error no. X on the internet
Opens the default browser and performs a web search for the error.
